About us

Maroela Treetop Lodge is the ideal destination for a weekend getaway, alone time to reconnect with nature, couple-retreats, gatherings, conferences and weddings.

Just 50km north of Central Pretoria and 90km from Johannesburg’s O.R Tambo International airport, on the border of Gauteng and Limpopo, you are able to escape the fast-paced city-life and be transported into a serene sanctuary nestled within the African bushveld.

Maroela Treetop Lodge was created on the premise of self-sufficiency, wherein an individuals’ happiness is dependent on the criteria set up for themselves – by themselves. Each unit at Maroela Treetop Lodge is fully equipped for self-catering purposes. However the lodge also provides catering for larger groups, weddings and conferences according to your own tastes and desires.
